Get Out of Me

Royce was diagnosed in July 2025 with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the most common childhood leukemia. His family had recently moved to Texas, and at first they thought he was just struggling with the heat and getting tired easily. But Royce himself kept insisting something was wrong and asked to see a doctor. He went through months of chemotherapy and other intensive treatment at Cook Children's Medical Center. According to reports, he missed family events, including his little sister’s birthday, and even had to relearn how to walk and eat properly after treatment. In March 2026, doctors told the family he was finally in remission and could go home. Instead of quietly walking out, Royce decided to celebrate in his own style: dancing down the hallway, doing a cartwheel, and ringing the hospital bell that marks the end of cancer treatment. The video exploded online because of how happy and fearless he looked. His mom said, “He kicked cancer’s butt.” One touching detail: Royce chose a rap song instead of the typical Disney-style music hospitals often use for kids. His parents said, “He’s not a Disney kid.”
